Welcome to tomorrow’s technology

Special thanks to Steven Garner, cyber-friend from the "other" hemisphere, at GreenFlame for posting this amazing 10 minute video stream of new technology presented in Monterey, CA at TED talks back in Feb. 2006.

The 10 minute segment captures my imagination, inspiring me with what tomorrow's technologies will look like.  The sensation I had while watching was like bouncing the first mini bounce on a diving board, getting ready for the big bounce soon to be followed by the ultimate plunge.

The video clip, narrated by Jeff Han, Project Director, is mesmerizing.  Jeff  is a research scientist for New York University's Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences.  In the clip he demonstrates an intuitive, "interface-free," touch-driven computer screen, which can be manipulated intuitively with the hands, and responds to varying levels of pressure.

Amazing video.  And oh, I know what you're saying: But could it actually improve my blogging?
