My friend, Jim Walton, over at Church Tech Matters is posting about the Net Bible this week. What a great way to start out the new year.
Through a series of posts, Jim plans to highlight a variety of Bible Software resources available either online or via download. I encourage visiting his site, designed to equip the church to effectively use technology, and additionally visit www.bible.org for more Net Bible resources.
Also, both The Digital Sanctuary and Church Tech Matters are contributors to dipnoi, a blog aggregator hosted by Scott Howard. You can also find Church Video Ideas there as well as the Christian Web Trends Blog.

Hi, Cynthia!
I came across your blog for the first time today, because of your reference to Bible software.
Do you have any familiarity with Logos Bible Software? Do you use Bible software in your work with The Shepherd’s House?
-Daniel
Daniel,
Although I don’t use Logos Bible Software, I have certainly heard of it and it’s excellent reputation.
The software I am most familiar with is called QuickVerse. I was given a copy because I have a friend who runs a Parable bookstore and wanted to promote it with me. Free is good. If you’d like to share any info with me about Logos please feel free to email me.
Thanks
Thanks for the link, Cynthia. I’m looking forward to this series and I hope to learn more about what’s available. I know there’s more out there than what I am aware of. My motivation is to get me in the habit of studying my Bible regularly, since that seems to be difficult for me to get done.
I agree with you that Logos is one of the best, if not the best Bible software out there, although I have not had a chance to try it yet.
Maybe I should give it a try.
