Cory Miller, who runs Church Communications Pro, has a couple of great January resources worth checking out. How he keeps blogging while frozen solid is beyond me.
First this link: 20 Free Web Tools and How Churches Can Use Them from early January. Although I only use 8 of these 20, Cory's post is a great reminder to keep adding.
And secondly, this week he added: An Untapped Internet Ministry for Churches: Developing Online Community Websites completely discrediting my nixing of the "surf web cam" from our church site with the conclusion that it was not spiritual in nature. Shame on me; when will pastors learn?
Between Kent Schaffer at Church Relevance, Cory Miller at Church Communications Pro and Swerve - a new blog from the LifeChurch.tv guys, it's no wonder Oklahoma is becoming a Gospel networking hotspot.

Cynthia, thanks for the link!
Cory,
Jim Walton (Church Tech Matters) & I have been talking about all the great resources coming out of OKC (he’s a Sooner, too) and your name always comes up in discussions like that. Happy to highlight you.
anyone hear about the new legislation that will effect non-prifits if they encourage their listeners to call congress over an issue?
It’s in the new ethics law(not yet passed), that will effect people like jim dobson and blog sites with over 500 subscribers

Lyn, great to hear from you and I’d like to know more about this pending legislation. If you get a chance send us a link. No doubt there will be more of this in the future. Hope your church is thriving as always…
Might I also suggest that people check out the book “Church Website Design: A step by step approach.” It is now available on Amazon.com. You can search for ISBN:1419659715.
