It was a great post, Cynthia. I was so tired last night when I got home but I wanted to get my thoughts on there.
By the way, I wanted to let you know that I loved the verse you started with. I have thought a lot about the wilderness lately, that’s where it seems my wife and I have been for the last year, related to our ministry in church and it seems now that we are coming out of the wilderness. God is moving in us and around us and we have taken some big steps and made some hard decisions lately as we attempt to do His will. We are perceiving His Spirit moving.
I’ve got some posts brewing in my head on this exact thing, thanks for the encouragement in your post.
Jim, due to the reasons I mentioned previously, I’m a bit late in commenting. (I’m hoping I don’t pass you on the road somewhere, because if you’re coming out of a wilderness season that would mean - I’m going in!) Good thing the book of Hosea teaches us that He can draw us to a wilderness season and give us vineyards from there
