I live on Maui and go to Hope Chapel here. But I do regularly listen to Wayne Cordeiro on radio. He's an excellent teacher. Thanks for this post. I found it while googling about their site :)

Hi, Cynthia! I noticed that you referred to the book "Jim & Casper Go to Church." I'm a volunteer with Jim's organization Off the Map and I wanted to let you know about our Live event coming up this November in Seattle. Both Jim and Matt Casper will be speaking at this event. Here is the link if you want to find out more: http://www.offthemap.com/live

Hey Cynthia

I've visited New Hope a number of times with my wife & kids.

My sister in law & family spent some years in Hawaii & made New Hope their spiritual home. We loved the times we visited from the UK, and everything you say is so true. Great teaching, wonderful authentic worship, and a riot of color. I seem to remember Pastor Elwin cooking up some shrimp or something right up there on stage as part of an illustration in his sermon.

New Hope rocks!

Peace & Blessings

Hey Cynthia,

Wow what a great review! I am glad that you were able to visit New Hope and that your experience was great. I am a web developer at New Hope and have some good news for those of you looking for leadership resources from Pastor Wayne. New Hope recently launched a new site called MentoringLeaders.com that has a bunch of great articles that were written by Pastor Wayne. Is there any kind of material that you are looking for in particular?

Chuckk - I forgot we wanted to remind Pastor Wayne of his bloglackingness. Should we pester him again for updates?
Keep me updated on your impending launch.
Thomas - how's your side of the world?
