Cynthia is right on here; the web and Internet now provide the printing press, radio, recording/playback, and TV all rolled into one. But it is more than that because of its ability to provide interactivity (a voice) to all.

There is a lot to learn and it changes quickly. Heed to Cynthia's warning; don't let the unknown stop you. Ask for assistance there are some great resources out there in the digital world.

Finally I would like to add a sixth point, if I may, don't think that the new media is that answer to everything. It is a great tool please use it, but don't forget that personal connection is the ultimate goal. God wants us to have a personal relationship with Him and each other. It is hard to hug someone in need through a computer screen.

Cynthia,

You're right on target when you say that fear often keeps many Christians from delving into online experimentation. I find that many believers have allowed themselves to get way behind the learning curve while the rest of the world reaps the benefits.

Venturing out into a new world takes time, patience, and guts. I've written a post about that very theme just this week. One of my desires is to see more believers avail themselves of all the latest technology so that the Kingdom will be represented in this digital age.

Keep up the good work!
