Also, for what it's worth, Chris designed the campaign for this year's Southern California Harvest. I'm not a designer, but I think it looks great, and for anyone who's in Southern California, I think it would be a great tribute to Chris (and the role he played in Greg's ministry) to really get the campaign bumper stickers and posters out there. Maybe that's just the marketing guy in me speaking, but I think it would be a nice thing to do.

James, thank you for taking the time to contact me. I can't imagine how busy you must be, and heartbroken.

I checked Greg's blog and saw 16,300 comments so I calculate that it's growing substantially even hourly. I believe I was the 800th or so commenter.

Hopefully the Laurie family will take some measure of comfort in that we are all supporting them in prayer.

Hey Cynthia,
I've been spending most of this weekend moderating blog comments for Greg. As I write, we've done 15,931 comments and I suspect we'll hit 16k before tomorrow.
In short, Chris was a dream co-worker. Absolutely committed to perfection, and yet a lot of fun to be around. His life truly radiated God's grace. I am going to (and already am) missing him a ton.
Greg spoke briefly this morning, which seems like a miracle in itself, and he was as good as one could hope. As he said, right now he's not our pastor, he's a grieving father. And so we all grieve with him, while also rejoicing that Chris is with his heavenly Father right now too.
This has been a crazy few days...but God is good.

Hi David (good to hear from the gospelcomm corner of the internet) -
I have such a special place in my heart for all the ministries that have grown out of the Calvary Chapel roots. Having received Christ there, taken my first mission trip to Manila, the Philippines & Indonesia with them, Pastor Greg was one of the first evangelistic role models I ever encountered. The Harvest Crusades were only a dream then. I can also remember sitting both my own children down within the last few years and having them watch him preach while I explained his history, passion & calling to them.

Words cannot express my regrets for Greg & Cathe and all the families involved.

I had the opportunity to meet Chris while he worked with another Design firm. Christopher was a nice person and an incredible designer. Pastor Greg has had a huge impact on me as well. I am shocked and will be praying for the family.

My heart absolutely breaks for their families. What a tragedy. I left my sympathies on Greg Laurie's home page. I, too, have gleaned from Pastor Greg's teachings for years and years.

I just heard from "loswhit". I'm shocked. Greg Laurie has had a huge impact on my life. I get his daily devotional. My prayers are with their family.
