Church TechCamp launches today in greater Los Angeles.  Pasadena, to be exact.  If you can’t make it in person, you can check out the live broadcast here.  Read more about how it all got started.

Church TechCamp is a localized unconference for people of faith to gather and share their own best practices and “in the field” insights. More simply put – it is a place where we all are the experts, everyone has something to share, and we all have valuable experiences we can learn from.

The first Church TechCamp is being held in Los Angeles on September the 26th, 2008 at Fuller Theological Seminary.  Locations are already being discussed for subsequent TechCamps.

This event was inspired by the popular PodCamps started by Social Media blogger Chris Brogan, which have now been consistently happening in major metropolitan areas all across the country and world.

That was such an awesome time! Oh wait…I didn’t arrive until dinner afterward. FAIL! I did hear that it was great, I enjoyed the Twitter stream.

I really will show up to the next one. Truly!
