Hi Cynthia, any chance of the sessions being podcast for those of us on the other side of the lake?
HI Cynthia,
Further to my last comment, I think we (church-tech bloggers) need to push on getting more live content onto the web. Conferences are prime opportunities to embed Qik and/or uStream videos and allow an international audience. Perhaps if we begin to talk more about it and supply the know-how people might start ot pick up on it and make it happen! your thoughts?
Darren - You could definitely email Fellowship One and find out about podcast options. Great idea.
And your other observation - push live content - is just about to come to pass. I want to ask Terry more about this in Dallas, but I can tell you Bobby Gruenewald and the digerati’s are already on this.
While I’m simply learning how to Twitter, they’re already streaming from their Nokias. Here’s a link to bobbygwald’s page on Qik - http://qik.com/video/52647, including dinner with the pastors. And knowing them, their experimental test runs are just the beginning.
Ultimately, it may lead to something like this: My Life’s Bits
Hey Cynthia, remember me? The guy you forgot you met on Facebook?
I’ve been figuring out how to get Phoenix Seminary Bible studies from Flip Video over to the iPod. (Turns out it’s harder than I thought it would be.)
Would this be a worthwhile, hands-on training session for me to teach at this conference? (Assuming I figure it all out in time.
Send me an email if so.
