Hi Doug. Nice to hear from a friend of Paul & Lori’s. The Vernon blog is an online model for missionaries and I want to promote it as much as I can in the coming year.
My husband and I recently had lunch with Paul & Lori and they reminded me that even the things they need (only certain things make sense in Thailand where they are) can be found on their site. And speaking of using the new media for ministry purposes, they recently had an open house in CO and used a fb page as the invitation. Wish I could have gone.
It was pretty humbling to have them giving us gifts - a cell phone case from “their” country and a missions calendar that I use right here at my computer - while they were in the states.
We are so happy to get to support them in any way.
