Activists claim they bought Householder’s campaign website

Household campaign website, amisoflarryhouseholder.com, seems to have been bought by activists who renamed the site “Larry lost his job”.

Currently, the website has links to information about the allegations against the head of household as well as links to issues he calls “things Larry (most likely) doesn’t like,” which the site said. Web, is based on the voting record of the head of household in the House. These issues include LGBTQ + rights, racial justice, reproductive justice, etc.

Householder was arrested in July 2020 on charges that he was part of a $ 60 million bribery and racketeering scheme linked to the passage of Bill 6.

On Wednesday, he was removed from his post in the state House of Representatives by 75-21. He had previously been removed from his post as Speaker of the House and ran unopposed for re-election in November 2020.

The owners of the website posted: “On the day he was kicked out of the Ohio House of Representatives, we noticed that his PAC website domain – ‘Friends of Larry Householder’ – had expired when he was removed. renewal. The new owners said this prompted them to purchase the domain name.

After his ouster from the House, Householder did not rule out another candidacy, saying, “I will always be there fighting for the people of Ohio.”

There is no information on the new domain owners listed on the website.

“Obviously, this page is not affiliated with the previous owners of this domain, and it is certainly not affiliated with former Speaker of the State of the House Larry Householder,” writes the new owner of the website. on the page. “But we hope this new site will help raise awareness of bribery and corruption issues in Ohio.”
