Auditor’s office: Unofficial results will be available on Lewis County website on election night

By The Chronicle team

The unofficial results of the November 2 general election will be available around 8:15 p.m. on election night at elections.lewiscountywa.gov.

All counties in Washington state upload their election results to the Secretary of State’s reporting site at the same time on election night. This causes a delay in the publication of the results online.

A PDF of the local results will be posted on the Lewis County website shortly after 8 p.m.

County certification for the November 2 general election will take place on November 23 at 10 a.m.

Anyone with questions about the election should contact the Elections Department at 360-740-1164.

All registered Lewis County voters should have already received a ballot in the mail for the general election, according to the Lewis County Auditor’s Office.

Ballots must be postmarked by November 2 or dropped off in a county-certified voter drop box by 8 p.m. on election night.

Washington voters can confirm their voting status after submission by going online at www.votewa.gov.

The last day to register or update voter registration online or by mail to vote in the November 2 election was October 25. Voters in Washington state can still come in person at the local auditor’s office to register or change addresses until 8 p.m. on polling day.
