Dimapur, July 2 (EMN): The Chairman of Business Association Nagaland (BAN), L Mongkum Jamir, launched the Expression Life website (www.expressionlife.in) in Kevijua settlement, Dimapur on July 2.
Speaking at the launch program, Jamir described MSMEs as the backbone of India’s economy, which accounted for 40% of industrial output and about 11.2 crore in job creation. Informing that there are about 6.3 crore units of MSMEs and they contribute about 29% of the country’s GDP, he congratulated the owner for the successful launch of the websites.
While sharing his journey, Tasang Imchen, Founding CEO of Expression life, said that every company is born from a dream and added that launching the website was the fulfillment of his late friend Soreichim Mahong’s dream. She said her late friend wanted to make Expression Life virtual and literally visible online from the start.
The CEO also recalled taking an online business course at the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs, which was sponsored by the US Consulate in Kolkata. She informed that 26 out of 90 participants have completed the course, thus qualifying them to attend a boot camp to start their business at the American Center in Kolkata.
Imchen went on to say that she received seed funding, which was used to build the websites and cover other expenses for a year.
While sharing a brief comment, Fusion Store owner Temsusenla shared that Fusion Store’s collaboration with Expression Life will last for three years. She added that from the beginning, the products that have come to Expression Life’s Fusion Store have been appreciated by customers.
Sharing her testimony, Alemla Apong said she saw her friend Imchen struggling, crying, praying, scared and going through a difficult journey but never gave up. She credited her friend’s determination and hard work for her success.
