Important Update on Bunjil Place Email Provider

Bunjil Place’s email marketing service provider, Wordfly, has been the subject of a security incident.

The security of your personal information is of utmost importance to us. We are using an alternate provider to communicate with you in the meantime.

This incident did not affect any other email newsletters sent by the City of Casey, which are sent through different email providers.

What happened?

The email service provider that Bunjil Place recently started using experienced a network outage following a cybersecurity incident.

On Saturday, July 16, Wordfly confirmed that the names and email addresses of Bunjil Place email newsletter subscribers may have been impacted. There is currently no evidence that this data has been misused.

Wordfly is investigating this incident and its teams are working with experts to rectify the situation.

Please note that the only personal information stored with Wordfly is your name and email address. This information is necessary to be able to communicate effectively with you.
