On Friday August 6, LegalShield rolled out a new mobile app experience that makes it easier for people to get legal advice for personal and business issues through the company’s network of experts.
Users of the LegalShield mobile app can schedule consultations with network attorneys who are experts in estate planning, trafficking, and employment, among other topics, and be guided through the process, according to an announcement posted on Friday August 6.
Some members enjoy a reduced hourly rate of at least 25% off the average published rates for cases involving a pre-existing problem, DUI, or legal action. Members can upload files, including images and videos, to support their legal advice requests.
These latest enhancements are now combined with existing LegalShield features, such as the ability to download tickets, create wills, and 24/7 emergency access to vendor attorneys for covered issues.
The LegalShield mobile app is now available through Google Play and the App Store.

LegalShield is part of an ever-growing field of legal consulting services that combines law with technology.
The ârobotâ law firm DoNotPay recently more than doubled its valuation to around $ 210 million after a series of investments.
DoNotPay, founded in 2015, offers automated letters to help get free bank refunds, cancel subscriptions, and prosecute telemarketers. CEO Joshua Browder said the company plans to use its new funding to expand its business offering to small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs).
It comes after the company defeated a class action lawsuit earlier this year, Bloomberg reported. Browder said the company has the power to ensure companies comply with certain regulations such as posting appropriate warnings on their websites, as well as protecting intellectual property through trademarks.
The company realized that “businesses get rocked all the time,” Browder told Bloomberg, and cited expensive billable hours that can be detrimental to SMEs or individuals as to why the business was created.
