PUBG Mobile announces collaboration with Lionel Messi

Krafton, the developer of PUBG Mobile, has announced a collaboration with famous Argentinian footballer Lionel Messi. And to celebrate the occasion, there will be a few series of events that will be featured in the game.

PUBG Mobile’s first event has already started but runs until December 18, so there’s still time to complete it. The second even started today but runs until January 3, so jump in now. There’s also a final event that runs from November 23 to December 31, 2022. Check out the details below.

PUBG Mobile: Lionel Messi Event Phases

1) Exclusive collaboration jersey

The event will run from November 10 to December 18, 2022. And participants who complete it will be rewarded with an exclusive Lionel Messi jersey, which players can equip on their characters.

2) Messi’s golden shoes

The Messi Golden Shoes event will start from November 17, 2022 to January 3, 2023. As with the first event, completing it will reward Lionel Messi’s Golden Shoes, which can also be equipped on in-game characters.

Lionel Messi has won the Golden Boot award six times while playing for Barcelona. This is a record set by any player.

3) Outfits and items

The Outfits and Items event will surface from November 23 to December 31, 2022. The event can be a great deal for players. The esteemed event features plenty of Lionel Messi-related outfits and items.

PUBG Mobile celebrates the arrival of the FIFA World Cup

Reportedly, Messi’s Golden Shoes event will start on November 18, 2022, with the arrival of an update 2.3.0. The game will receive a football theme and the event will be called Football Mania. The event and collaboration should celebrate the occasional arrival of the FIFA World Cup.

As Lionel Messi is also a collaborator, there is no response from him yet. But he will surely enjoy the event as Messi loves enjoying video games (he plays PUBG Mobile with his friends).
