Pelikin is a travel card designed to help young people do epic things abroad. We are more than just an average travel card, what we are building is the very first all-in-one travel and money product that not only helps young people meet their travel goals, but helps them save money. time and money while abroad. We are about to enter an exciting growth phase as we challenge the status quo of the travel card market, first in Australia and then beyond.

We are looking for a Content Creator and Social Media Marketing Guru to be responsible for all of our Social Media and Content Marketing efforts.

If you are self-motivated and enjoy using your initiative and creativity to solve problems, then this post is for you!

Your responsibilities include producing marketing copy to advertise our products, writing social media and blog posts on related topics, and promoting our brands.

You will help us reach our target audience by providing useful and engaging online and offline information about our company and our products.

Things you will do:

Monitor and manage our social channels.

Create most of our social media content i.e. writing, photography, videography and content research from our data and our users.

Play a critical role in the creation and execution of our social media strategy

Implement paid and organic strategies in line with marketing campaigns.

Develop and maintain content calendars and creative production calendars based on product campaigns, seasonal campaigns and international events.

Identify and build blogger / influencer relationships for the brand

Stay on top of global events and trends related to all things travel

Come up with ideas for content and campaigns that will help us grow our brand.

Use your basic Adobe Photoshop and illustrator skills to create content for all social channels.

Work with our designer to make sure everything we do is of the highest brand quality.

Contribute to team brainstorming and idea generation for content, branding initiatives and campaigns

Increase our presence on social networks (i.e. maximize the number of subscribers, likes, comments and / or shares)

Regular reports on campaigns, budgets and other relevant analyzes in line with our performance.

Organization and participation in team events and user functions

Good to have:

You are up to date with the latest tools, advertising products and algorithms.

You have a business and marketing mindset that always compares the most recent strategies to be implemented.

You actively follow trends, news and innovations, to share with the team.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (basic skills are acceptable).

Passion for social networks and traveling around the world!

Willingness to go do shit when needed.

This is a causal role for up to 24 hours (or 3 days a week) per week. The ideal candidate will integrate a full time when we are ready.
