You live and breathe everything online and are a recent graduate or have over a year of experience in an intern or digital coordinator role, looking for an entry-level position. You are a creative, self-starter who is passionate about the next digital trends and thrives in a fast-paced, busy and bustling agency environment.

This role would suit someone looking to start their career in social media marketing and gain invaluable experience working with targeted brands in Australia and overseas. This is the perfect role if you want to learn and grow with a company that values ​​your ideas, input and passion for the digital and impact-driven space.

Ideally, you have exceptional attention to detail, can create visual graphics, love a meme, and say it best via reel. You are fluent in Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook and Snapchat. You understand that it takes more than a pretty picture to grow an account and you enjoy diving into data and using it to drive strategy.

Main responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth community engagement and management for Compass and our clients on a daily basis across multiple social media channels to ensure we are building thriving and growing communities for KPI.
  • Creating monthly organic social media content across all channels for our clients, with an ongoing desire and dedication to improving results. Including content ideation, image research and copywriting.
  • Produce visual digital content in the form of Instagram reels and static graphics and a strong sense of aesthetics and visual consistency.
  • Produce weekly social media community engagement reports for clients, ensuring KPIs are tracked and achieved.
  • Support the digital marketing team with the creation of detailed monthly customer reports that provide insights and recommendations.
  • Planning organic monthly content on social media channels for our clients.
    Proactively investigate and suggest potential collaboration and content partnership opportunities for our clients, working with the digital marketing team to plan and execute.
  • Actively improve results on a monthly basis for our clients.
  • Be a proactive and ongoing voice of authority in terms of on-the-ground social media trends and best practice community management strategies.

Your profile:

  • You are passionate, values-driven and collaborative.
  • A qualification in communication, journalism, marketing or experience in a relevant field is highly desirable
  • A proven ability to write persuasive and grammatically correct copy.
  • Relevant examples of strong knowledge of social media platforms, either personally or on behalf of a brand.
  • Experience producing aesthetically cohesive visual assets with Canva or another platform such as Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively, and meet deadlines.
  • A keen interest in learning and gaining experience in social media marketing.
  • Technological savvy and willingness to learn how to use platforms such as Sprout Social, Meta Business Manager and social media analytics.
  • Good understanding and confidence in Google Slides, Google Analytics, Instagram Insights, Pinterest Insights and LinkedIn Insights.
  • Attention to detail, great pride in your work and ability to multi-task.
  • Bonus points if you have experience with videography, FinalCut Pro and/or photography, but not essential.
