Social media reacts to BYU Football’s win over Arizona state

For the third time in as many weeks, BYU eliminated a PAC-12 team on Saturday night. Additionally, the win over Arizona State represents the second victory over a Top 25 opponent in the past two weeks.

The # 23 Cougars led the # 19 Sun Devils all the way after BYU scored a touchdown after 31 seconds of the game. BYU sealed the victory late in the fourth quarter when backup quarterback Baylor Romney found tight end Isaac Rex in the corner of the end zone to extend the lead to 27-17.

Tyler Allgeier Forced Fumble

In one of the craziest games you’ve ever seen, BYU running back Tyler Allgeier turned the tide when he forced a fumble on an interception. You can check out the game below.

The forced fumble even caught the attention of college football fans across the country. Even Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green yelled at Allgeier.

BYU will test its unbeaten record next week at home against USF. This match will start at 8:15 p.m. MST. USF enter the game with a 1-2 record – their only win this weekend was against Florida A&M.

BYU and USF last faced each other in 2019. BYU quarterback Jaren Hall made his first career debut in the game, although he did not finish the game after sustaining an injury to the lead in the second half. The Cougars lost a close game this afternoon 27-23.
