The Phoenix Suns emerged from the burning doors in Game 6 against defending champion Los Angeles Lakers with Devin Booker in the lead, and social media took notice.
Booker lost 33 points in the first half as the Suns entered the locker room by 21 points.
He added 14 more in the second half for a total of 47 and finished 18 of 22 on the field with eight 3-pointers.
Booker’s point total scored against the Lakers ranks third in playoff history, behind Sleepy Floyd (51) and Allen Iverson (48).
JJ Watt and Kyler Murray of the Arizona Cardinals, who were in Game 5 in Phoenix, were just a few to weigh in Booker’s hot start.

The young star certainly made history in the first quarter.
Thin! @ DevinBooker31 destroy these boys. Looking at this closely, they are literally playing with the @Lakers. Finally, Coach Fogel wants to overtake Booker. Too late. @Suns are flowing now. @Lakers horrible body language. Looks like they don’t have a flight left.
