Hidden in the source of the recent Tesla v4.5.0 mobile app update, there were references to the ability to display information about your vehicle’s various warranties.
Tesla has now quietly enabled the feature, along with the ability to see your car’s specs.
To access the new feature, scroll down to the bottom of the app and click “Show details”.
Once you click on it, two new tabs will appear.
The first contains your vehicle’s specs, including which model of Tesla you have, your paint, interior, and wheel options, and whether you have Autopilot and full self-driving (FSD) capability.
For the lucky few who have free access to the Supercharger for life, you can also find those details here.
The second tab contains all your warranty information, which was not easy to find before this update.
It is now easily accessible through the app, showing the expiration dates of your general, road, battery and power unit covers.
Other features that were also in the source code of the v4.5.0 update, such as the ability to rename your vehicle through the app, have not yet been enabled.
Tesla has added this same information to your online account.
