UBA Ghana celebrates Valentine’s Day with its clients; Unveils the mobile web application

United Bank for Africa (Ghana) celebrated Valentine’s Day in style this year by showing love to its customers and staff through a series of love-filled activities and giveaways.

The bank shared chocolates and corporate gift boxes with cocoa products across all trade offices to delight customers as part of the Valentine’s Day celebration and to commemorate National Chocolate Day.

The theme for this year’s celebration was “UBA Red Love’ and was intended to demonstrate love and appreciation for customer loyalty.

The Valentine’s Day evening was crowned by the screening of the feature film entitled ‘Involuntary’a Red TV production which is the bank’s online lifestyle television channel available for free on YouTube.

The film screening saw around 200 selected customers and employees watch the film for free at the Silverbird Cinema, Accra Mall.

In addition to the love range of gifts, the bank also launched the web version of the new mobile application which serves as an online bank for retail customers, with the theme ‘Made for love’.

The recently upgraded online bank has been fully equipped to deliver a new digital experience to customers as the bank has invested in cutting-edge technology to achieve this by paying attention to the smallest details.

The bank’s senior management couldn’t stay away from the excitement and euphoria around the bank as they joined in the event to bring a smile to the customers they interacted with.

Customers expressed their joy and gratitude upon receiving their chocolates. The day ended with delighted customers and praise for the initiative.

UBA Ghana Managing Director Olalekan Balogun said, “On a special day like this, we want to share our love with our valued customers who make us who we are.

He added that UBA will continue to provide superior banking services while offering rewards to customers.
