YouTube vs TikTok boxing: social media gets angry over controversial AnEsonGib draw

For anyone who doesn’t know, last night saw a monster crossover event featuring social media stars from TikTok and YouTube, with a host of big names on the map including Deji, Bryce Hall, Michael Le , among others.

However, the most controversial fight after the event’s conclusion is AnEsonGib vs. Tayler Holder.

The main co-event saw the two social media stars go for it with AnEsonGib clearly appearing to have won the fight and looking the most comfortable throughout; that was until the referee stepped in and the fight ended in a very questionable draw.

Fans were so upset that “ROBBED” even started popping up on Twitter following the shock of the night.

He will certainly be upset with the outcome, but AnEsonGib has come a long way, it must be said, since his last outing which ended in a loss to Jake Paul.

Prior to the fight AnEsonGib looked like he wanted to do business, the social media mogul had displayed his physique ahead of the event having already built a hype campaign ahead of time, enlisting his thoughts on TikTokers saying how the community TikTok “couldn’t sell food to a hungry person.”

The YouTuber has an impressive 2.2 million subscribers on his platform and was actually accredited to take this fight very seriously, so much so that his colleague KSI even commented “I’ve never seen you with abs. “.

AnEsonGib vs Taylor Holder results:

According to the ring announcer, the three judges concluded with the scores for the fight, these were: 49-46, 49-46 and 50-46.

The results enraged fans, with rage clearly spilling over to Twitter in the hours that followed.

There hasn’t been an official discussion of a rematch yet, although while it makes money, makes sense, and draws an audience, it seems the prospect of a match doesn’t seem too far-fetched.
